St. Michael’s Catholic Primary School, Wolverhampton

The School had converted a classroom into a Chapel and wanted a unique and special window created with the whole School involved in the project. I developed a theme for the wall of windows which was based on the circle of life shown through the changing seasons. These were represented by trees which also symbolised the crosses at Calvary.

I worked with every member of the School community. Each of the youngest children in Nursery and Reception created a flower for the ground around the trees whilst the rest of the School and the Staff each created a leaf with a message on it. I then developed the different elements into the finished work.
